FAQ
Short answers to fair questions.
How hot is “very hot”?
Our scale runs one to five dots. Two is a confident salsa; four means Estonian habanero at full strength; five is Trauma — reaper territory, used in drops. Every product page shows its rating.
What about allergens?
Sichuan Chili Oil contains peanuts. Su Ema contains soy and gluten. Everything else is free of the usual suspects, but full ingredient lists live on every product page and label.
How long do bottles keep?
Unopened, a year in a dark cupboard. Opened, three months in the fridge — though nothing of ours has ever survived that long.
Where do the chillies actually grow?
In our own greenhouse and garden in Krootuse, South Estonia, from seed. What we cannot grow in a cold year, we buy from growers we know by name.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes — EU in 3–7 days, worldwide in 7–21. Glass is wrapped in recycled paper and has survived every postal service so far.
Can I return a sauce?
Unopened bottles, 14 days, no questions. Opened bottles cannot come back — but if something is wrong, write to us and we will make it right.
Wholesale for restaurants or shops?
Gladly. We already supply a handful of restaurants and delis — write to hello@talise.ee for the price list.
Is the gift crate really wood?
Estonian pine, built by a neighbour. Add a note at checkout and we will write the card by hand.
